Monday Morning Motivation | Yeah But
Posted by Bill Esteb on Aug 22nd 2026
A Moment of Clarity from May 23, 2022:
Yeah but...
No one else is doing it.
I’m not a morning person.
I’m just not that disciplined.
Patients will leave if I raise my fees.
I already know what I’m going to do.
What if they ask a question I can’t answer?
Patients won’t know the difference anyway.
I don’t want to be constrained by a set procedure.
Patients are expecting to get adjusted on the first visit.
If our team met weekly we won’t have anything to talk about.
You can’t deliver a quality adjustment in less time.
I can’t trust my staff to stay off the Internet.
I’m comfortable with things as they are.
I’d be embarrassed to ask for a review.
If I ask to be paid, patients will leave.
I don’t want to work that hard.
It’s always been that way.
Patients just want relief.
That’s just not me.
I can’t afford it.
I’m afraid.
