Monday Morning Motivation | Wearable Health Devices
Posted by Bill Esteb on Jan 21st 2023
There are hundreds of wearable health devices and those using one have an elevated interest in their health and well-being.
It could be a FitBit, Apple Watch, Oura Ring (which I use), or something else, their use is a major clue. Whether you think this emerging technology is a gimmick, or offers the user (patient) helpful insights, isn't the point. Are you on board?
To better understand this growing patient population start using the technology yourself.
Quality of sleep β Between the Oura Ring and the SnoreLab app, I'm able to objectively measure the depth of my sleep and connect the dots between sleep and lifestyle choices.
Heart rate variability β This objective measurement between the sympathetic and para- sympathetic nervous system has come a long way.
Successful meditation β I use Muse to properly chill. Just 20-minutes a day and I'm much more mellow.
Welcome to the future. Are you keeping up?
