During a recent interview I was asked about the common denominators among the most successful chiropractors.
Here's what I've observed:
Clear identity – Successful chiropractors know who they are. They're comfortable in their own skin. They're not MDs or wannabes. Not second class or even "alternative." Merely different.
Boundary honoring – They know where their responsibility ends and that of a patient begins. They're not emotionally invested in a patient's behaviors or personal choices. They honor each patient's free will agency.
Certain – Because they know who they are and have clear boundaries they are attractively confident. They trust their internal compass and don't rely on social self-esteem.
Disciplined – They're consistent, even when no one is looking. They have a higher calling; a greater purpose than mere survival or being liked. They are passionate about playing their role in changing the world.
Decisive – Firmly guided by their principles, decision-making is easy. Even fast.
