They say if you find yourself in a hole, stop digging. But what if you're just inches away from success? How do you know if it's time to give up or soldier on?
Has anyone else been successful at this?
Are you trying to do something no one else has done?
When you share your plan with others, do they think success is possible?
Decide what failure will look like in advance before embarking on a new project. By recognizing signs of failure, you'll know when to regroup before you're too emotionally invested in the outcome.
Ask for help. Chances are someone else has attempted what you're trying. (They may have even created a YouTube video about it.) Don't let pride, or more likely, the needless fear of someone stealing your idea, stand in the way.
Afterall ideas are a dime a dozen. The magic is always in the execution.
