New patients find one of your most attractive features is your sense of certainty—because they often lack it. Their model of the universe has turned upside down. Medical solutions failed them. They’re in a strange new practice.

One of your obligations is to give each one the hope of a better tomorrow.

So, it’s ironic that a major source of uncertainty comes from accepting new patients on the basis you’ll be treating their symptoms.

Reducing nervous system interference is so often accompanied by a reduction in a patient’s symptoms, it appears adjustments are treating pain.

Until they don’t.

Then you’re reminded that the speed of their recovery reveals more about them than you!

Adjustments promote life by connecting brain and body. By waking up the body. By making the patient whole.

Which often reduces symptoms. But not always within some arbitrary deadline of the patient’s or insurance carrier’s making.
