Monday Morning Motivation | Over Correction
Posted by Bill Esteb on Mar 15th 2025
When you’re an associate you’re expected to follow the playbook.
Never mind that some of the scripting feels uncomfortable, testing your sensibilities. But you surrender, biting your tongue, holding your nose, and getting the experience you need for this new career of yours.
Apparently, this is what it takes to be successful.
When it’s your turn to call the shots in your own practice, you may not be sure what you’ll say, but you know what you’re not going to say!
That’s when a pendulum effect occurs.
If the former practice was white, you’re going black. If hot, you’re going cold. Going from one extreme to the other.
It feels like you’re correcting a tragic injustice and avoiding what you found so objectionable. But you’ve over-corrected and the wisdom of the Goldilocks point is lost, producing a new set of issues.
Which is a human problem, not a chiropractic problem.
