It's been said that if you want to learn something, teach it.

That's why I probably get far more out of these 150-word messages by writing them, then you get by reading them.

Generating – Like health, creativity comes from the inside out. If you create it, you own it. It's why we were asked to write book reports in grade school. It helped us remember.

Replicating – Other than a good memory, it doesn't take much to parrot back what someone else said. But it doesn't last. If asked a probing question we're likely to come up empty handed.

It's why chiropractic seminars are so ineffective at producing change. Watching someone else burn is quite different from a burning passion.
