"Men are anxious to improve their circumstances but are unwilling to improve themselves; they therefore remain bound." James Allen
Your life and practice are the sum total of the choices you've made up until now. If you seek a change it must come from you. Only as you change will your world change.
If you're going to rise above the common and the path of least resistance, you must become extraordinary.
Expose yourself to new information, untried possibilities and be willing to take new risks. Difficult to do if you’ve succumbed to the routine and isolated yourself in a social cocoon.
Be willing to endure feeling incompetent as you try something new. It’s uncomfortable--which can be distasteful enough to prevent many from subjecting themselves to the temporary feelings of disorientation, uncertainty or insecurity. Yet, this is the cradle of personal growth.
Only as you grow will your practice grow.
