Monday Morning Motivation | Growth

Growth is one of the signs of life, yet we often prevent it from occurring.
Physical growth – We scramble for the nearest parking spot, take the elevator instead of the stairs, and later, suffer for sarcopenia. We're not our bodies, but if we neglect to grow and strength them, our life is lessened.
Intellectual growth – Instead of reading a nonfiction book, we monitor social media, consume Hollywood gossip, watch cat videos and the juvenile antics of strangers on YouTube.
Emotional growth – Our relationship with risk and tolerance of fear prompt many of us to live small, uneventful lives. Many confuse survival with living, fearing rejection, judgment or anything that tests our fragile self-image.
Spiritual growth – Many confuse religion (man-made) and spirit (God-made). By kowtowing to political correctness, we avoid exposure to deep, transformational insights.
This week, lean into this thing called life and make it a grand adventure by... growing.
