Monday Morning Motivation | Body Awareness

Monday Morning Motivation Masthead

Patients use their earth suit to get around, often ignoring or overlooking the subtle, often nuanced feedback, it supplies.

Besides being disconnected, they’re oblivious to the philosophical implications of taking a drug to fool their body. Or hope a symptom “will go away” on its own.

If you want to see more people interested in better health and well-being, you may want to increase the body awareness of those you see.

Since our bodies tend to whisper first and if ignored, shout, help patients become more mindful of:

  • Changes in bowel movements
  • Eye crusties upon waking in the morning
  • Throat clearing after a restaurant meal
  • Burps, farts, and intestinal changes
  • Joint pain or stiffness getting out of bed
  • Runny nose after eating certain foods
  • Difficulty getting or staying asleep

No surprise these are some of the symptoms patients report that often resolve as the integrity of their nervous system improves.
