Monday Morning Motivation | What You're Up Against

Monday Morning Motivation Masthead

It’s tempting to take patient choices personally.

After all, you’ve seen the results of what’s possible when nervous system interference is reduced. You’ve employed countless metaphors, analogies, and even videos to explain how chiropractic works.

Perhaps you’ve overlooked an important detail. Or forgotten to share a major insight. Or neglected to explain the long-term implications of neglect.

Unlikely.

Instead, it’s imagining that a snappy report of findings (accompanied by worrisome X-rays) will prompt a patient to abandon their lifelong allopathic beliefs and embrace vitalism.

You may get just enough patients to embrace chiropractic as a lifestyle to conclude that you had a hand in their acceptance.

Amazing, considering what you’re up against:

A lifetime of symptom treating
Skimpy insurance coverage
Living paycheck to paycheck
Optimal health may not be important
Fearful of getting “addicted” adjustments

Just be sure you know where your professional responsibility ends—and their personal choice begins.
