Monday Morning Motivation | Not for the Fainthearted
Posted by Bill Esteb on Mar 21st 2026
Unlike medical practitoners, with someone just down the hall with which to exchange ideas, you work largely by yourself.
Working alone isn’t necessarily lonely, but it can put your resolve to the test!
The emotional weight of practice – needing to be a constant source of enthusiasm.
The quiet doubts about clinical choices – isolated from potential options or alternative perspectives.
Leadership obligations – persevering in spite of everyday challenges.
The relentless fatigue – having to be always “on” and be the strong one with unshakeable certainty.
And not to mention the prejudice, bias, and general misunderstanding others have about chiropractic and how it works.
Being a chiropractor isn’t for the fainthearted.
But consider the rewards. Changing the trajectory of a bedwetter’s life. Saving a patient from an iffy, irreversible surgery. Appreciative patients who trust you. And don’t forget the freedom and financial rewards.
Patients may not say it often enough. So, I will.
Thank you!
