"Action eradicates fear. No matter what you fear – positive, self-affirming action can diminish or completely cancel that which you are fearful of." Mark Victor Hansen
So often we wait for the circumstances to be just right before taking action.
After the kids leave the house.
When we get a bit more savings accumulated.
After we get the end of the year behind us.
When I lose a bit more weight.
When I retire.
We each have our own list, waiting for the imagined perfect moment—which rarely comes.
This is almost always a reaction to fear or mistrust. Waiting to pull the trigger and taking the necessary action is often justified as being smart, calculating or prudent. We are deceiving ourselves.
This week make a list of the things you fear—from replacing an under performing staff member to the difficult conversation you've been putting off. Then, get into action!
